The chalk fits in the large end and the narrow end has a metal roller that draws the chalk on your fabric while you roll it along. Makes extra fine lines; Allows you to draw chalk lines on your fabric for alterations and marks Mark fabric lightly and remove all marks before pressing. Refills sold seperately.
